1970s Soviet metal pin of Thumbelina (Дюймовочка), a character in the fairy tale of the same name by Hans Christian Andersen. Thumbelina is the only girl member among the other seven in the Club of Merry Men (клуб веселых уеловечков), but she does not appear in all work like the other characters do. Thumbelina is known for teaching her friends how to plant flowers and saving Cipollino, who got lost in a dense forest.
Club of Merry Men are a group of fairytale characters who have been combined by a Soviet magazine "Funny Pictures" to become regular characters and appear as a team in stories and comics since 1956.
