
1980s Soviet metal pin of performing acrobats in Circus of Nizhny Novgorod (горьковский цирк) to commemorate its 100th year of establishment (1883-1983). The Circus of Nizhny Novgorod was opened in 1883 by the brothers Peter Nikitin and Akim Nikitin. The first performance took place in a wooden stationary circus, then a stone structure was made three years later. The circus became a state enterprise in 1923.
