1970s commemorative Soviet metal pin of Vostok 2 (Восток-2), a Soviet space mission which carried cosmonaut Gherman Stepanovich Titov (Герман Степанович Титов) into orbit for a full day on 6 August 1961, to study the effects of a more prolonged period of weightlessness on the human body. The mission orbited the Earth 17 times.
