1970s Soviet metal pin of Tom Thumb (мальчик с пальчик), which is a popular fairy tale story about the adventures of a little boy with the size of a thumb. In literature, Thumb Boy first appears in an English poem of the 16th century "Tumbe his life and death", and also develops in the tale of Charles Perrault. In Russian folk tales, it focuses on describing Tom Thumb as a hero choosing weapons during his adventures and describes in details about the Russian peasant life.
